Ramón Real Vargas Alanis is a multifaceted-indigenous-queer artist from the barrio of what is currently known as Winton, CA (Yokut Territory). They have had the privilege of training and working nationally and internationally. They're favorite workshops to teach include viewpoints and Commedia dell'Arte. They are currently working as a co-writer for Theatre of Yugen's Braided: A Native Noh Play. Ramón focuses on new works centering social justice uplifting marginalized stories and artists. They love to meet new people and dance. Dance is a ritual from their culture, wearing their Tlahualil regalia, changing the timeline from linear to circular, blending it into one. But they also just really like to dance.
